We have 24-hour video surveillance and a gated facility with keypad entry system. We have cameras placed all over our property and you can visit our office and see the system on our big monitor.

Self storage also known as “mini storage” is an industry in which storage space (such as rooms, lockers, containers, and/or outdoor space), also known as “storage units” are rented to tenants, usually on a short-term basis (often month-to-month). Self-storage tenants include businesses, non profits and individuals.

We lease small to large storage units for vehicle storage, contractors, boats, commercial storage, home storage and everything in between!

A valid driver’s license and proof of residence or current mailing address. It is very important to provide a valid mailing address and contact information so you can receive information relating to your unit as needed. Change of address, phone number and e-mail address should be submitted in writing to the office.

Contact our Property Manager to give your intent to vacate.

Your balance must be $0 to complete your move-out.

The last day of your lease is your anniversary date, we do not pro-rate.

Protecting your property in storage is your responsibility.

Adventureland Drive Self Storage does not insure your goods and is not responsible for damage or loss to your stored property. Insurance is available for purchase with your rental contract through Safestor Tenant Insurance. As a courtesy, we will add your selected coverage amount to your monthly rent payment so you only have one payment to make each month.

Check your homeowner or renter policy carefully to see if coverage is provided. These policies often restrict the amount of coverage for goods stored away from the insured’s residence. Proof of insurance coverage should be provided to the Property Manager.

No, a deposit is not required to rent a unit from Adventureland Drive Self Storage.

You have 24/7 access and keypad entry with a rented unit.

We also have a 24/7 full service kiosk is just inside the front door.

We prefer tenants use a disc lock. We have locks available at a low cost for our tenants to purchase for only $12.00.

Our kiosk is open 24/7 and locks can also be purchased and dispensed there anytime.

7% sales tax applied to the monthly rate.

We offer several promotions throughout the year, and you can get a monthly discount for renting multiple units. Call the manager for the most up-to-date information.

There are no requirements on length of stay.

After the initial move-in payment, units are rented month-to-month.

We do require at least a 10-day notice prior to vacating the unit.

Our rental contracts are prorated to the 1st of the month and are billed monthly on the 1st. 

You can move in immediately upon completion of a rental contract which can be done conveniently by telephone & email (515-967-9720), by visiting our office, or at the office kiosk.

You can pay online by clicking the ‘Pay Your Bill Online’ button above, calling the office, coming to the office, dropping a check in the office drop box, or paying at the kiosk. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash and personal checks. Automatic payments are preferred and convenient for you to set up with a credit/debit card. 

You can always transfer to another unit if you decide you want more (or less) space. Our property manager will ensure that you only rent what you need. If you do need to store more goods, we are happy to transfer you to another unit.

Our new facility has a unique feature – tall ceilings. Many older facilities only offer 8-9 foot ceilings. Most of our units start at 11 feet and our larger units for RV and boats are even higher!

We do have carts and a dolly that can be borrowed (and returned) during business hours.

Yes you most certainly can! You can also pay rent online, simply click the PAY ONLINE button at the top of this website.

Please do NOT store any hazardous or flammable materials such as propane tanks, fireworks, cans of gas, etc. As well, do not store food items in your unit. Also, you may not store anything that is prohibited by law (illegal). .
